Full Mouth Reconstruction

Home ยป Full Mouth Reconstruction
As the name suggests, full-mouth reconstruction is a procedure that is dedicated to the rebuilding and replacing of all the teeth in your mouth. In this, we aim to improve aesthetics, functionality, and most importantly your overall oral health.
A full-mouth reconstruction can be recommended in several cases but is not needed for many patients. Eligibility for this will ultimately depend on the findings and recommendation of Dr. Shaygan and your oral care team.

What Occurs In A Full-Mouth Reconstruction?

During this procedure, our care team will take the appropriate measures necessary to inform you before on what actions and reconstructive processes must occur. We would like to note that each case is unique and what we will do during it, will vary depending on our initial findings.
However, in more common cases, we have found that some patients may require additional treatments such as:
  • Inlays & Onlays
  • New Bridges
  • Dental Implants
  • New Crowns
  • Possibility of Dentures
The reasons for these specific treatments are to either replace the teeth that have been broken or have decayed beyond repair and to further protect your oral health.

Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility for full-mouth reconstruction is determined based on our findings during your cleaning and checkup. In extreme cases, we recommend this procedure when we see a patient who has suffered from things such as multiple missing teeth, badly damaged teeth, cracked teeth, teeth that have been worn down due to grinding, and extremely poor oral health.
In other extreme cases, patients that have encountered oral cancer, Dentinogenesis, Ectodermal Dysplasia, or even, Ameliogenesis could very well qualify for this. There are other instances, where we can recommend a patient for a full-mouth reconstruction, that does not involve damaged teeth.
In the rare case of a damaged or deteriorating sinus cavity, we can perform a full-mouth reconstruction.
